Saturday Circle is a free, weekly, no-reservation-needed, gathering open to anyone working with a therapist at Erika Malm Collective.
It is a chance to connect with others who are on parallel journeys of self-discovery, to share what feels important and significant in our lives, and to support one another.
Think of it as a salon for the heart, mind and soul.
This week's theme:
It is only when we recognize that, like us, every person has positive and negative attributes, and only when we look at one another as equals, that we can truly connect. It is that connection of common humanity that frees us to open our heart and care unconditionally. To look at another as an equal.
- James R Doty, MD, Into the Magic Shop: A Neurosurgeon's Quest to Discover the Mysteries of the Brain and the Secrets of the Heart
Research shows that social connection is the medicine that helps us live longer, happier, and more fulfilling lives. When we create a culture of compassion, we enable ourselves and others to access that medicine.
Join us for a conversation on cultivating compassion.
Where are you on your spiritual journey to make contact with your true self? And how do you move forward through the unknown? You can participate as much or as little as is comfortable for you. Sharing or listening, there are many ways to make a connection.
Please note this group is open only to clients of the practice. While we are still at home, each week we will share the zoom link with you. Once things shift in New York, we will hold these gatherings in the office.
